Cop Problem/Buried Beneath Black Noise/The Compound/Earsplit Distro/2013 EP Review

Cop  Problem  are  a  band  from   Pennsylvania  that  plays  a  mixture  of  crust  punk, metal,  grind  and  hardcore  and  this  is  a  review  of  their  2013  ep  "Buried  Beneath  Black  Noise"  which  was  released  by The  Compound  and  Earsplit  Distro.

"Bear Witness"  begins  with  heavy guitar  riffs,  drums  and  high  pitched  screams  before  adding  in  some  mid  paced  parts  and  then   switching  before  mid  paced  and  fast  parts  along  with  some  blast  beats  and  melodic  guitar  leads  and  halfway  through  the  song  there  are  some  growls  being  added  into  the  music.

"From  Within"  begins  with  some  slow  melodic  guitar  riffs  before  adding  in  some  heavy  guitar  and  bass  riffing  along  with  some  drums  which  leads  up  to  some  crust  grind  style  growls  and  screams  as  well  as  some  hardcore  style  vocals.

"Who  Really  Pays"  begins  with  some  drums,  guitar  and  bass  riffs  before  the  screaming  vocals  kick  in  and  after  awhile t heir  is  a  brief  use  of  guitar  leads  being  utilized  for  a  few  seconds  as  well  as  some  melodic  riffing  which  also  leads  up  to  some  blast  beats.

"American  Spring" begins  with  some  heavy  and  melodic  guitar  and  bass  riffs  along  with  some  drums  and  screaming  vocals  and  the  song  switches  back  and  forth  between  mid  paced  and  fast  parts a s  well  as  adding  in  some  guitar  leads.

Song  lyrics  cover  political  and  war  themes,  while  the  production  has  a  very  strong,  powerful,  heavy  and  professional  sound  where  you  can  hear  all  of  the  musical  instruments  that  are  present  on  this  recording.

In  my  opinion  Cop Problem  are  a  very  great  sounding  hybrid  of  crust  punk, metal,  grind  and  hardcore  and  if  you  are  a  fan  of  this  musical  genre,  you  should  check out  this  band.  RECOMMENDED  TRACKS  INCLUDE  "Bear Witness" and  "American  Spring".  RECOMMENDED  BUY.
