F.A.M are a band from Poland that plays a mixture of crust, grindcore, and death metal and this is a review of their 2016 album "Human Cargo" which will be released in September by Deformeathing Productions.
A very fast and brutal grindcore sound starts off the album along with some blast beats and guttural death metal growls and the music also brings in a great mixture of both modern and old school influences as well as mixing in some d beats and most of the tracks are very short in length.
Elements of crust can be heard in the music at times and you can also hear all of the musical instruments that are present on this recording and the songs also bring in a great mixture of slow, mid paced and fast parts and pig squeals can also be heard in certain sections of the recording and as the album progresses samples can be heard in some of the songs and all of the tracks avoid using any guitar solos or leads and they close the album with a cover of My Dying Bride's "All Swept's Away" and all of the musical instruments have a very powerful sound to them.
F.A.M plays a musical style that takes the most brutal elements of crust grindcore and death metal and mixes them together to create a musical style of their own, the production sounds very professional while the lyrics cover war, death and murder themes.
In my opinion F.A.M are a very great sounding mixture of crust, grindcore and death metal and if you are a fan of those musical genres, you should check out this band. RECOMMENDED TRACKS INCLUDE "Junkie" "VI" "Human Cargo" and "Loneliness". 8 out of 10.
